The Ford company has unveiled their most potent truck to date and a serious back-in-your-face answer to all those super trucks out there. The Ford F-150 Raptor R has the perfect name and branding, a Shelby GT500 engine under its hood, and beastly good looks.

Engine and Performance
The most significant game changer is Ford’s decision to let the V6 Ecoboost engine of the 2022 model rest in peace. The 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R’s Shelby GT500 V8 5.2-litre supercharged engine produces a brain-searing 640 lb.-ft. and 700 horsepower, which will demand respect from non-followers of Ford and will absolutely delight the company’s avid fans. The manufacturer hasn’t released all the details regarding performance.
However, if you just consider the horsepower and the torque of the GT500, you can estimate that the truck should be able to reach 100km/h at around four seconds (based on the performance of its closest rival). The Raptor R has been designed for extreme off-roading and will be equipped to take on all types of terrain with massive Beadlock-capable 93.9cm extreme BFGoodrich all-terrain tires.
Key Features
We anticipate that Ford will keep most of the interior features that were incorporated into the 2022 model.
Unique Raptor orange branding will be accentuated in the cabin on the seats, floor mats, steering wheel, and centre console. The seats will include Alcantara mock suede and will be trimmed in leather. The cabin will also have ambient lighting and a 30.48cm digital screen. Other technology features include SiriusXM, FordPass Connect 4G Wi-Fi Hotspot, and the option to install a navigation system.

We have no updates on what other key features will be standard or optional. However, optional upgrades in the 2022 model include dual-zone automatic temperature control, a 360-degree camera, lockable partitioned storage, a trailer backup assist system, a trailer reverse guiding system, and more.
Safety
Driver’s aid safety features will consist of adaptive cruise control, a post-impact braking system, a pre-impact assist and emergency braking system, and a lane-keeping assist system.
