Performance

Perhaps the most important question with an all-electric vehicle is the driving range and charging rate because if the truck is not charged, it is of no use to drivers. Ford offers two different battery packs for the F-150 Lightning. The included standard-range battery provides an estimated range of 370km while an available extended-range battery provides an estimated range of 480km.
For charging, Ford is backed by the largest public charging network in North America. This allows drivers to charge wherever they might be--on the job, on the road, or at home. Every model comes with the 32-amp Ford Mobile Charger which allows drivers to charge from a traditional 120V or 240V outlet. The extended-range battery includes the 80-amp Ford Charge Station Pro, which ups the peak charging power to 19.2 kW and allows it to charge from 15 percent to 100 percent in about eight hours.
And in terms of useful pickup truck performance, the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning is expected to haul 907kg of payload and tow up to 4,535kg.

Ford offers the 2022 F-150 Lightning in three trim levels: XLT, Lariat, and Platinum. Starting at $68,000, the entry-level XLT offers more than enough standard features to go around.
